Gypsy Gold Horse Farm Gypsy Gold Horse Farm The Gypsy Gold Farm is home to the first 16 registered horses of a breed that's now 5,000 animals strong.
(1207)

Our founders, the Thompsons, connected over a mutual love of animals, and thereafter discovered an unknown breed of horse, developed by British Gypsies, while traveling through the English countryside. After a four-year journey to understand these horses and the culture that created them, we took part in naming them: the Gypsy Vanner horse. Our 40 acre ranch is an educational and cultural oasis, where visitors to Central Florida learn about one of the most colorful and least understood societies on earth and the magical Vanner Horses they envisioned.

Happy birthday to Gypsy Gold's Seventh Heaven, who is 22 years young today! Heaven was born in a week between two hurricanes back in 2004. Her sire is Cushti Bok and her dam is Shampoo Girl. She is the first of this combination and she was so nice we did several more! Heaven has been a phenomenal driving horse, and might be best known for her daughter, GVR Heaven Sent by The King aka Bettie Davis.

Heaven is proudly owned by Diamond D Ranch.

Finding a saddle that truly fits a Gypsy Vanner can be a challenge. Their short backs, wide barrels, and low withers can make saddle fit difficult. That's why we are excited about the Gypsy Gold Saddles through Stagecoach west - a saddle that's designed specifically for the Gypsy Vanner's unique build—not just a standard saddle that's been adjusted.

These saddles were developed specifially with the Gypsy Vanner (and similarly built breeds) in mind, providing a fit that helps keep your horse comfortable while giving the rider balance and security in the saddle.

Whether you enjoy trail riding, showing, or another discipline with your horse, a properly fitting saddle makes all the difference!

✨ Meet “Sweets” — a filly as adorable as her name! ✨

Born in 2026, this lovely girl combines sweetness, curiosity, and just a hint of sass — something she clearly inherited from her grandsire, GG The Walker Horse (“Fred”)! Sweets has a kind, people-loving personality and already enjoys attention, making her a joy to have around.

She is sired by GG Latcho's Mighty King and out of GG Esme Zion, a daughter of Fred, giving her an exceptional pedigree filled with some of the most admired names in the Gypsy Vanner breed.

Her bloodlines include:
• 2x The Gypsy King
• 2x Latcho Drom
• The Lion King
• The King’s Good Friday
• Thomas Bay
• The Lottery Horse
• Cushti Bok

Sweets is PSSM1 negative by parentage and is developing beautifully. With her outstanding genetics, sweet personality, and eye-catching presence, we believe she has tremendous potential as both a future partner and an exciting breeding prospect.

We can’t wait to watch this special filly mature — and neither should you!
For more information on Sweets, contact Dennis at 352-817-1777.

GG Let's Kiss Patsy
Black & White Gypsy Vanner Filly
DOB: 5/6/2026
PSSM1 Negative by Parentage

Some foals are special from the moment they arrive, and Patsy is one of those rare babies that steals your heart immediately.

From Patsy’s owner: “Patsy has been an absolute dream to raise. In fact, she was my very first foal ever—and she spoiled me completely. From day one she has been calm, trusting, and incredibly people-oriented. At just a few days old, we had to body clip her due to the Florida heat. She simply stood quietly and accepted the process like she'd been doing it her whole life.”

Patsy already leads, picks up her feet, and is a pleasure to handle. She nickers when she sees her owner or the kids, leaves her mom to come find people for scratches, and genuinely enjoys being around humans. Her laid-back, affectionate personality makes her the kind of horse everyone hopes to raise but few are lucky enough to get.

Patsy also brings an outstanding pedigree to the table:
⭐ Sire: BPF Little Big Man
• WR Big Son of Bok (by Cushti Bok)
• VV Zanna (by Caymus)

⭐ Dam: GG Kiss Me Mary
• VV King William (by The Gypsy King)
• GG Velvet Doll (by Latcho Drom)

Her pedigree combines some of the breed's most influential bloodlines, including Cushti Bok, Caymus, The Gypsy King, Latcho Drom and The White Horse.

With her beautiful markings, kind eye, easy-going temperament, and proven foundation genetics, Patsy has all the ingredients to become an exceptional family horse, breeding prospect, or future show partner.
