Hey guys! 👋🏼 Just a quick reminder that we are CLOSED today.

We just got back from vacation, and I’m giving my hand a few more days to heal before getting back after it. 🙏🏼

We will be back to our normal schedule starting Wednesday! 🔥

I know a lot of y’all have been asking for an update on my hand, and I truly appreciate every single person who has reached out. 🙏🏼❤️

I haven’t been able to respond to every message or notification, especially with us just getting back from vacation, but please know I’ve seen the love and support.

I’m going to post a picture of what my hand looked like a couple days after it happened compared to what it looks like right now… and thankfully, it’s come a long way. 🙌🏼

I can confidently say we will be READY TO GO Wednesday! 🔥 I should be more than capable of getting all the prep work done and getting Smokey Drew’s back up and running.

Thank y’all again for checking on me, praying for me, and continuing to support us. It truly means more than you know. 🙏🏼❤️

We are officially BACK from vacation and ready to get to work! 🙏🏼🔥

Over the next few days, we’ll be getting everything cleaned, prepped, trimmed, seasoned, smoked, and ready so we can come back strong on Wednesday, September 2nd! 💨🍖

Thank y’all so much for sticking with us while we took a little time away. Your continued support truly means more than you know. ❤️

Me and Pops ❤️ are out here enjoying a little vacation time in the Bahamas 🇧🇸🌴 while still repping the Smokey Drew’s BBQ brand everywhere we go! 🔥😂

One thing I’ve learned is how important it is to slow down sometimes and spend quality time with the people you love. Pops isn’t just my dad — that’s my best friend. ❤️ These are the memories you can’t put a price on, and I’m beyond thankful we get to experience things like this together.

But don’t worry… we’ll be back soon! 😂🔥

Smokey Drew’s BBQ reopens Wednesday, September 2nd! We cannot wait to get home, fire that smoker back up, and start serving y’all again.

🚨 FOOD TRUCK COMMUNITY — NOW IS THE TIME TO WAKE UP. 🚨

We are approximately TWO HOURS away from this meeting, and if there was ever a time to stand together, it’s right now.

I’m out of the country and unfortunately I cannot be there personally, and that genuinely bothers me. But just because this proposed requirement doesn’t directly affect my business does NOT mean I’m going to stay quiet.

This is bigger than one food truck. This is about hardworking people who have invested their savings, sacrificed time with their families, worked late nights, and taken huge risks just for the opportunity to earn an honest living doing something they love.

When decisions are being made that could make it harder for some of these small businesses to survive, the food truck community needs support.

If you can attend the meeting, PLEASE SHOW UP.
