🚨 FOOD TRUCK COMMUNITY — NOW IS THE TIME TO WAKE UP. 🚨
We are approximately TWO HOURS away from this meeting, and if there was ever a time to stand together, it’s right now.
I’m out of the country and unfortunately I cannot be there personally, and that genuinely bothers me. But just because this proposed requirement doesn’t directly affect my business does NOT mean I’m going to stay quiet.
This is bigger than one food truck. This is about hardworking people who have invested their savings, sacrificed time with their families, worked late nights, and taken huge risks just for the opportunity to earn an honest living doing something they love.
When decisions are being made that could make it harder for some of these small businesses to survive, the food truck community needs support.
If you can attend the meeting, PLEASE SHOW UP.
If you can’t, SHARE THESE POSTS. SPEAK UP. SUPPORT LOCAL. GET LOUD. 📢
Not disrespectful. Not hateful. Just UNITED.
These are our neighbors. Our friends. Our local business owners. People trying to provide for their families just like everybody else.
I wish more than anything I could stand beside y’all in that room this morning. Since I can’t, I’m going to use the platform I do have to stand behind you from here.
Food truck community — this is your moment. Let your voices be heard. 🙏🏼❤️
Please pray that the people making this decision listen to the hardworking men and women this could impact. SUPPORT LOCAL. SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESS.

Marion County commissioners are considering new rules that would update zoning rules and operational requirements for food trucks, fruit stands, and temporary roadside vendors across the area.
