This morning wrapped up lambing 2024! Birthdates are 3/14, 3/23, and 3/25. Welcome to the world little one! šŸ’™ Other great news-Margaret is now letting her little girl nurse on her! This is a win win! Simon is growing like a w**d! Now it times to relax, pick two more names, and find these cuties new homes for the end of May šŸ˜Š

Never say never! Iā€™ve officially milked a sheep! I expressed lots of Margaretā€™s colostrum today and am bottle feeding it to her lamb. Margaret is almost 7 years old and this is the first time Iā€™ve ever had to assist her after lambing. Itā€™s frustrating because she has claimed this lamb as her own but wonā€™t let her nurse off of her directly. šŸ¤Æ Sheep logicā€¦ Time for everyone to rest before another busy day in and out of the barn. Happy Holy Week! Itā€™s only Sunday and Iā€™m being given lots of opportunities to be more patient, understanding, and compassionate!
