Stonebank Sunflower Farm

Stonebank Sunflower Farm This year are fields are remote and not safely accessible to the public. Our sunflowers are still being grown for organic sunflower oil.

We will post pictures and maybe a drone video during peak bloom. Thank you for your support last year.

We grow more than just sunflowers. We were surprise to see our organic corn field as the backdrop for Top Chef when they were filming in Wisconsin.

Randy does a great job explains why organic farmers plant sunflowers. He also uses the sunflower oil the seeds from these flowers produce Century Sun Oil LLC to make their Blue Farm Organic Tortilla Chips

Sunflowers are amazing. They have a deep tap root and even though we are in a serious drought that are hanging in there. Our sunflowers this year will be Regenerative Organic Certified and going to Simple Mills.

So excited to see companies like Simple Mills making these opportunities for farmers.

We're members of the Artisan Grain Collaborative (AGC)—a network of farmers, processors, end-users, and advocates working together to strengthen our Midwest grainshed. We envision a thriving and equitable Midwest staple crops economy that stewards our landscape and ecosystems, strengthens connections between urban and rural communities, and ensures regional food security. Your responses will help AGC member businesses understand how to serve you well and to engage more eaters of regional grain products.

In order for us to grow sunflowers we need to also grow a diversity of other crops to improve and keep our soils healthy. Who knows maybe you will see even more sunflowers on the agricultural landscape.
