Today we are celebrating someone who is a very important part of our farm and family — Happy Birthday, Luke! 🥳🎂

Luke plays a big role in so many parts of our farm. On the beef side, he takes care of inventory and pricing and helps in the store whenever he is needed. On the dairy and cropping side, he is always ready to do whatever needs to be done to keep things going and the farm running smoothly. There is never a shortage of things to do around the farm, and we can always count on Luke to jump in and get the job done!

For those who may not know Luke as well, sports have always been a big part of his life. He played football and ran track in high school and then continued his football career at UW-Oshkosh, where he saw plenty of action as a defensive back and punt returner. One of our favorite memories was his junior year, when the team made the playoffs and our family had the opportunity to travel with the team all the way to Portland, Oregon, to watch the game. Looking back, those high school and college sports years gave our family so many fun times, proud moments and memories to cherish. 🏈❤️

Now Luke is building a wonderful life together with his wife, Liz. We love seeing the two of them enjoying life, getting involved in the activities and events around the Oconomowoc area, and making memories together. We know there are so many great times ahead for them!

Luke, we are so proud of you and so thankful for all you do! You are an important part of our farm and our family, and we hope you have a birthday as special as you are! 🎂 🎉

Our hours this week are Thursday from 12-4 and Saturday from 10-2. Stop out and stock up on our fresh from the farm beef! Call or text ahead and we can have everything ready for you!

40 Years!!

Although our parents do not like a lot of attention, this is a milestone we think needs to be celebrated. Our parents (Bob and Therese) will be married 40 years this coming Sunday! 40 years is no small accomplishment in our minds. Throughout those 40 years they have raised us boys and have been a great example in how to treat a marriage. They have worked side by side every day since then, building this farm into what it is today. They have taught us many valuable lessons over the years. We believe the most important one is to always be kind and treat everyone how you would want to be treated. It is easy to see how many people feel loved and welcomed by them. The success of our beef business is a testament to that lesson. It is humbling to see the number of new customers that have become great friends all because of who they are and how they treat people. We owe them both all the thanks in the world for what they have done for us.

So stop in this week on Thursday from 12-4 or Saturday from 10-2 to congratulate them on 40 years of marriage and wish them the best for the next years ahead!

There's nothing quite like a good rain! 🌧️🌱

The recent rains have really greened up our pastures, giving the animals plenty of fresh grass to enjoy. It's also brought some much-needed moisture to our corn and soybean fields, helping the crops continue to grow during this important time of the season.

Life on the farm is always a lesson in patience and thankfulness. We can do the planting and care for the land, but we still rely on God's timing and the weather! 💚🚜🌽🐄

Our hours this week are on Thursday from 12-4 and Saturday from 10-2 and other times by appointment. Call or text ahead and we can have your order ready for you!

Many of you have asked about our son's wedding on May 30th. It was truly a day to remember! It was the perfect farm-themed celebration, and Andrew and Kenzie poured their hearts into every single detail. From the beautiful weather and ceremony to the outstanding venue, beautiful flowers, delicious food, and incredible band, everything came together perfectly.

Most importantly, we were surrounded by the love of family and friends, making it an unforgettable day filled with laughter, joy, and so many wonderful memories.

Posting these pictures wasn't easy because it means this special day has come and gone. But as the saying goes, "Don't be sad it's over... be glad that it happened." ❤️ Those words have stayed with me as I’ve looked back through all these pictures!

So we're sharing these photos as a reminder of a really beautiful day and to celebrate the beginning of Andrew and Kenzie's new journey together. We are excited to watch the life they will build together and wish them a lifetime of love, happiness, and many blessings. 💕

And now…back to business!😊 We will be open this week on Thursday from 12-4 and Saturday from 10-2! Grilling season is in full swing…and we have some of your favorites! Hope to see you soon!

Some things never change. ❤️

Many years ago, these boys spent their summers helping stack hay bales in the barn. Back then, they were just little guys learning the value of hard work, family, and lending a hand.

Fast forward to today, and they're still at it—only now they're stacking freshly baled wheat straw instead of hay into the barn. It's amazing how quickly the years fly by…they are taller, stronger, and have grown into hardworking young men! Young men we are very proud of! Seeing them work side by side brings back so many wonderful memories and it’s hard not to wonder where the years have gone! Farming is hard work, but the memories you make stay with you forever! ❤️🌾🚜

Our hours this week are Thursday from 12-4 and Saturday from 10-2! Hope to see you then!

🌾🚜 Wheat harvest is here! 🚜🌾

The wheat is ready, and that means it's time to get the combine going! Luke is our combine operator, and one of his favorite parts of harvest is having Liz and EllaMae riding along as he drives in the field. 💛

Once the combining is finished, the work isn't over! We will be baling the wheat straw, which will be used for feed and bedding for our animals. Nothing goes to waste on the farm, and it's nice to see every part of the crop get used. We are thankful for another wheat harvest season and the chance to make memories doing what we enjoy! We wish all of our farming friends a safe and successful harvest! 🌾🐄🚜

Our hours this week are on Thursday from 12-4 and Saturday from 10-2 or other days by appointment. Stop out and get all your favorite cuts of beef for grilling! Hope to see you soon!
