Wagner Farms Inc.

Wagner Farms Inc. We are a dairy farm that produces high quality dairy products! We love showing others what farming is about! They cleared the land and got it ready for farming.

We love what we do, take care of the animals and environment, and we enjoy the people we work with! Wagner Farms started way back in 1896 where it was purchased from a lumber company and all wooded at the time. In 1956 Hank's dad Tony took over the farm with 15 cows. Hank and Pam took over the farm in 1987 with 70 cows. Wagner Farms is a fifth generation dairy farm with 650 cows. At our farm peopl

e, animals, and our environment are very important to us! We are a family farm that is owned by Hank and Pam Wagner, along with their children Shawn and Crystal Wagner and Laura and Tyler Raatz. Hank is the CEO and manager of the farm and Pam keeps the farm looking nice and clean by cutting grass and cleaning on a daily basis. She also helps out taking care of the milking cows. Shawn is the crops manager and machinery manager. Shawn's wife works off the farm and also has a son Jackson and daughter Brinley. Laura is the calf and herds manager, where she takes care of babies from first born all the way through the cows. Laura's husband,Tyler, works on the farm and is our feed manager and employee manager. We love what we do, but most of all, we value people animals, and our environment!!

Growth doesn’t happen by accident. It happens when we intentionally show up to learn.
Laura is looking forward to two days next week focused on expanding our knowledge — not just as farmers, but as leaders. Hope to see some of you there!

When winter hits and the temperatures drop, it might look quiet from the outside. Snow-covered fields. Closed barn doors. Fewer tractors moving down the road.
But I promise you — nothing slows down on a dairy farm in the winter.

In fact, care increases.

Colder temperatures mean extra attention to nutrition. It means deeper bedding. It means monitoring barns, airflow, water access, and animal comfort around the clock. It means teams showing up before sunrise and staying late to make sure both animals and people are safe and cared for.

Winter is also when planning happens — reviewing budgets, crop plans, feeding strategies, and long-term goals to ensure a strong year ahead. What may look still from the outside is actually one of the most intentional seasons of the year.
Farmers don’t just endure winter — we prepare in it.

To our team who shows up on the coldest mornings, and to the animals who rely on steady, consistent care — we’re grateful for the work that happens behind the scenes.

Strong starts are built in the cold.

✨🎆 Cheers to 2025 & Welcome, New Year! 🎆✨

As we close the door on 2025, we find ourselves reflecting with full hearts and deep gratitude. This past year brought countless memories — early mornings and late nights, challenges that stretched us, goals that were achieved, and moments that reminded us why we love what we do.

We’re proud of the progress made at Wagner Farms this year — not just in numbers or milestones, but in the strength of our team, the care of our animals, and the culture we continue to build every single day. None of it would be possible without the dedication, passion, and teamwork of the people who show up day in and day out to make this farm run.

As we step into the new year, we do so with vision and purpose. We’re excited for what’s ahead — continuing to invest in our people, our animals, and our environment; finding smarter and better ways to farm; and building a future that honors where we came from while preparing for generations to come.

Here’s to new goals, new opportunities, and another year of doing what we love alongside an incredible team and supportive community.

From all of us at Wagner Farms, we wish you a Happy New Year filled with health, happiness, and hope.

🎄✨ Merry Christmas from Our Farm Family to Yours! ✨🎄

As we celebrate this special season, we’re reminded of what matters most: family, gratitude, and coming together. While the days are cold and the work never stops, we’re thankful for a team that shows up day in and day out to care for our animals and produce high-quality food for families around the world.

Christmas is a time to pause and reflect, and we’re especially grateful for the people who make Wagner Farms what it is: our family, our employees, our fellow farmers, and the community that supports us. We had a great time celebrating together at our farm Christmas party, taking time to recognize the hard work, dedication, and passion that went into the 2025 season.

From all of us at Wagner Farms, we wish you a Christmas filled with peace, joy, love, and meaningful moments with those you hold close.

Merry Christmas!

The recent cold snap has definitely taken a little adjusting, but no matter the weather, our team shows up day in and day out to make sure our animals are safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the winter months.

This season also reminds us of what truly matters — family, teamwork, and gratitude. While many are gathering around the table or counting down the days to Christmas, farmers everywhere are still working hard each day to produce high-quality food for families around the world.

One of the things we’re most looking forward to is our farm Christmas party, where we’ll pause from the busy days to celebrate our incredible team and recognize the time, effort, and passion they poured into the 2025 season. What we do wouldn’t be possible without the people behind it — and we’re so thankful for each and every one of them.

As we head into Christmas next week, we’re reminded that even on the coldest days, this farm is fueled by warm hearts, strong values, and a whole lot of gratitude. ❤️

🌾💙 Building a Farm Culture That Feels Like Family 💙🌾

At Wagner Farms, we’re often asked: “What kind of atmosphere do you want your farm to have?” The answer is simple — the atmosphere you experience in any business is directly shaped by the culture you choose to create.

As a family, we took time to sit down and truly define what we wanted our culture to look like. Our motto — People. Animals. Environment. — has always been our foundation, but we firmly believe that it all starts with people. Our farm can’t run without a team that loves what they do and enjoys where they work. That belief became the core of our culture, built on three key pillars: fun, thankfulness, and being idea-driven.

We want to create an atmosphere where there’s continuous laughter, smiles, and joy in the work we do. It makes the tough days easier and the good days even better. We also believe in thankfulness — attracting people who appreciate what they have, what they’re given, and the privilege it is to work with animals, land, and a team that produces something meaningful every day. Gratitude reminds us that what we have is a blessing, not a right.

Lastly, our farm is driven by ideas. We want to stay innovative in every area of the farm — but that innovation shouldn’t just come from the top. It should come from our entire team. We encourage everyone to always be thinking of faster, easier, smarter, better ways to do things — not just to improve the work, but to make each other and our farm stronger.

Because at the end of the day, our goal is to build a culture where people love what they do, feel valued, and know that together, we’re building something that lasts.

🐄 Blending the Wisdom of the Past with the Tools of Today 🐄

Wagner Farms began back in 1896, when the land was first purchased from a lumber company and cleared for farming. What started as a small herd has grown through five generations of dedication and love for agriculture — from 15 cows when Tony Wagner took over in 1956, to 70 cows under Hank and Pam in 1987, to the 950 cows we proudly care for today.

Being a multigenerational family farm means we’re standing on the foundation built by those before us, but also carrying the responsibility to keep moving forward. We honor the past by holding tight to the values that built this farm — hard work, care, and integrity — while embracing change through innovation, technology, and smarter management practices. Every day, we’re looking for ways to do things faster, easier, smarter, and better — for our people, our animals, and our environment.

At Wagner Farms, we like to say we’re “blending the wisdom of the past with the tools of today to build a stronger future.” Growth is part of our story, but we believe success isn’t just measured in size. Too often, “getting bigger” is seen as “getting better,” but for us, the future is about being better before being bigger — focusing on efficiency, animal care, sustainability, and culture.

Because in the end, true success comes from building farms that people want to work for, consumers want to buy from, and families can sustain for generations. 💙
