Kenny Angus

Kenny Angus Our program goals are to breed cattle that excel in the economically important traits. We aim to add value to our customers next calf crop.
(1)

Breeding for performance, moderate birth weights, maternal traits and highly desirable carcass is our primary focus Kenny Angus originated in 1990 in northwest Iowa near Schaller, by Brian and Sue Kenny and their sons, who are fourth and fifth-generation beef producers. With the sincere love of beef cattle and an abundance of crop residue readily available, we set out to build a herd of high-quali

ty functional cows. We selected Angus because of their unlimited potential and their ability to improve the quality of beef in the marketplace today.

Impressive how these Kenny Rogers daughters pass that signature performance and robust build straight to the next generation.

Every time we get out to sit at the table with another cattle producer or jump in a truck for a ranch tour, it’s a reminder of why we do this. While the genetics are the foundation, it’s the people who make this industry what it is, which is why it was such an honor to drop off a load of bulls to the X-Bar Ranch in Burbank, OK. Proud to play a small part in the operations of some truly incredible people. Thanks again for the tour and the hospitality, Shane!

Make sure to watch for the joint offering from the X-Bar Co and King Ranch during their two female sales this year. They’ll be selling 1,500 breds (750 this spring and 750 this fall) with a large group selling this fall carrying the service of Kenny Angus bulls. High quality cattle from top-tier operations.
