Want to try your own meat market? Our equipment at the Odem location is for sale!!!
Walk in cooler/freezer. Display coolers. Display freezers. All for sale.
The building owner is a great landlord and is willing to work with a new buyer.
At this time, we are only interested in selling the equipment where it sits for someone wanting to open quickly in the current location. We would be willing to supply meats if needed to help get started. We are not looking to sell equipment to be moved, if it’s going to be moved, we will move it ourselves and use it in other projects.

Wow! Yall can come out for a sale!!! Maybe we should hang around, mark everything up 25% and then do a 20% off sale 3 days a week!!!

Ok, we aren’t doing that, but our fresh shelves have been cleaned out. So, starting now, here is what we are doing.

50% off all freezer items.
30% off all pickled items, jams, jellies, seasonings, smoker pelllets, charcoal, ect. Basically off all dry products.
We are restocking fresh items on the shelf, they will not be at a discount.

There have been quite a few comments on things we should have done differently. We welcome offers to purchase our equipment. The landlord is amenable to a new market opening in our place.

3 and a half years. We gave it everything we had. Unfortunately, not all things are meant to be. Clayton’s meat Market will be permanently closing its Odem location at the end of June. We will be refocusing our efforts on our Portland location.
In the mean time, we will continue to service the Odem location.

(Excluding jerky, dry sausage, and snack sticks) All retail items at the Odem location are 20% off this week. We will progressively adjust that rate as we proceed towards the end of June.

Processing customers, our Portland location is still likely your closest bet for quality products.

If you have any interest in owning a meat market in Odem, reach out to Michael or Clayton to discuss details for purchasing the equipment in place. The landlord would be happy with a new market taking over. We will be moving out equipment in July, so make contact sooner than later.
