Psalm 37:7 “Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him.”
James 1:12 “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.”
A friend brought us coffee this morning from Devoted Grind, and the Scriptures printed on those cups couldn’t have been timed any better. ❤️
This week has been full of chaos. There have been plenty of moments where I’ve found myself praying over the farm, asking God for direction, strength, and sometimes honestly wondering, Is this really what we’re supposed to be doing?
The constant trials can make you question everything. You wonder if the hard days are a sign to walk away or simply a season you’re being asked to walk through.
And then God sends a little reminder exactly when you need it.
“Be still. Wait patiently. Persevere.”
Maybe the answer isn’t always found in immediately seeing the outcome. Maybe sometimes faith looks like continuing to put one foot in front of the other, trusting that the Lord sees what we cannot.
The farm has stretched us, humbled us, exhausted us, and tested us in more ways than I could have imagined. But it has also taught us to pray harder, trust deeper, and recognize that we were never meant to carry it all on our own.
So today, I’m choosing to be still. To wait. To persevere. And to trust that if God has called us to this, He will continue to walk through it with us. Sometimes the reminder we need comes in something as simple as a cup of coffee. ☕️🤍
