Pony Lake Farm Darla is available to a new home. She is ADGA registered. This photo is from May 27, 2026.
Darla is a very easy to handle yearling doe. Her dam, Woody Creek Yvonne, milks a gallon a day after her kids are weaned, and the production level remains consistent until dried off, typically 6-8 months after kidding. Darla's two year old sisters, Laverne and Shirley kidded this year for the first time, are dam raising their kids, and each producing a half gallon for me in the mornings after keeping the kids separate overnight.
Her sire is Zao Fully Rip'd.
Her temperament, like her siblings and dam, is very gentle, and not pushy. I anticipate she will be as easy to milk as her sisters are from the very first day on the stand.
She does have horns as a result of a failed disbudding. She was not bred last fall as she wasn't quite big enough. She is ready now to breed, and could come bred to my purebred buck, Kansas Bluestem Pistol Pete.
