Hello friends!!✨ As we get ready to kick off our 2026 Corn Maze season, we thought we would introduce ourselves!! 🤩
We are Andrea & Trina Gibson (aka the ultimate mother & daughter in law duo!!) and we run the Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch here at Green Acres!!🥳
Our husbands, Ron and Bennett run the family farm that has been here for over 150 years!!
Andrea and Ron have been married for over 30 years, have a big beautiful family and a growing group of grandkids to keep them on their toes!!🥳
Trina and Bennett have been married 7 years and have 3 little boys, just pure fun chaos!! 🥰

Andrea and Trina bring a unique balance of creativity, energy, and purpose to everything they do. Andrea is creative, imaginative, and so fun! Always bringing fresh ideas, a warm smile, and an outgoing spirit full of love to anything she does! Trina is thoughtful, diligent, and hardworking. Field trip time options:
Tues and Thurs: 10 am-12 pm & 12 pm-2 pm
Wed: 9:30 am-11:30 am

Friday Oct. 23rd is Homeschools ONLY.
Thursday of Fall Break (Oct. 15th) is unavailable for field trips.

We are now hiring for our fall activities at Green Acres!!🍁🌽
Seriously the most fun and exciting place to work!🥳
Here are a couple key positions we are looking for:
✨General activity shifts for our Corn maze and Pumpkin patch! Must be 14 yrs or older. Perfect for students looking for a part time job. Evening and weekend shifts, bonuses, lots of different positions!
✨Field Trips! (18 yrs or older)
Perfect for anyone looking for some hours during the day while kids are at school!
Tuesdays & Thursdays from 10am-2pm
Wednesdays from 930am-1130am
Field trips are such a blast and we will be flexible with your schedule!!
Starts mid September through end of October!
✨Ticket booth! (18 yrs or older)
Loves people, fast pace environment, good with money and fast learner!
✨Cook Shack and Sweet Shack!(18 yrs or older)
Evening and/or Weekend hours!
Someone who enjoys working with food and a fast paced environment.
Must have or willing to get food handlers permit! Again, we are flexible with schedules!

Unfortunately after looking at our flower field in preparation for this fall, there is a complete CROP FAILURE. There is not enough time or water this year to replant or even hope for the best. So our 2026 season Utah’s Sunflower Festival will be CANCELED. Our hearts are broken and we are so sorry to those who look forward to the sunflower field every year.

🌻New Utah’s Sunflower U-pick experience!🌻

This year, instead of our traditional “festival” we are shifting to a more laid back u-pick field!🤩

✨U-pick open hours: Sept. 7, 11-12, 18-19
10am-4pm (evenings are reserved for photo sessions)
Tickets available starting July 8th at 2pm!🥳
Here is what to expect:
🌻Tickets are $5 per person to enter the field!
🌻Flower bundle options are:
$12 for 6 flowers
$25 for 2 dozen flowers
$30 for up to 3 dozen flowers
🌻Tickets will be sold by day, limited tickets available each day! You may come anytime during our 10am-4pm open hours on that specific day!
🌻This will be “Bring your own bucket”, water will be provided to fill your buckets with.
🌻Clippers will be provided at the ticket booth (given with collateral, just same as past years)
🌻We still encourage you to take all the photos your heart desires!
🌻This will be strictly u-pick! We will not have a tent, vendors or any extras available!

We are excited for these changes, and hope it can better reflect our family and our visitors!

These are “Bring your own photographer” sessions. We do not have photographers on site!!📸
Photo session purchase includes admission for the photographer, one assistant, and any clients for the one hour session!
Please note: due to the drought this year, our field will be smaller than past years. There will still be lots of beautiful flowers for all your photo needs!😍

A lot of factors have taken us in this new direction of turning from “festival” to “u-pick”. We will post more about that later on. But one of the reasons this year is due to the drought we are facing in Utah. We chose to plant a smaller field, in a different field (still next to the corn maze) to help save water and effort it takes to up keep the flowers. With that being said, they will still be MANY flowers to take pictures with and to pick for your beautiful bouquets!!😍
