Moooove over! 🐮 It's Cow Appreciation Day! 🐮 Did you know that cows, like humans, form deep friendships with their cow friends? They love to frolic and play around in fields, and when cows are paired with their preferred buddies, their resting heart rates are significantly lower. Happy Cow Day to these big, sweet babies! 🐮 Almanac.com/bestday/wean-calves

I always say, the uglier the better!🍉

Do you have a good ear for the "thump test"? 🍉🍉🍉 Old-timers swear they know when a watermelon is ripe just by rapping it with a knuckle. It is ready if the sound is low-pitched, hollow, and deep like a drum. Johnny’s Seed Company explains further, saying that it should sound like a “punk” rather than a “pink” or a “pank” when you flick it with your finger.

If you're still learning the right tone of "thump" to listen for, try these tricks as well! 🍉🍉🍉 Almanac.com/how-tell-if-watermelon-ripe
