Cinnamon Donut Bread😍😋
Ingredients📋
For the Bread:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup whole milk
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
For the Topping:
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions:🥣
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Begin and end with the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Bake for 50-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
While the bread is cooling, prepare the topping. In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon. Brush the top of the warm bread with melted butter, then sprinkle generously with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Let the bread cool completely before slicing and serving.
