For almost three decades The Ojai Vineyard has been on the cutting edge of wine production in the Santa Barbara area. We have kept true to our ideals and have stayed small and crafty, making some of the most compelling wines in the central coast region. The wines have been recognized nationally and internationally by the top wine critics, restaurants and wine aficionados. Our highly qualified and

knowledgeable staff is happy to share stories about our craft from the simplest to the most arcane. The Tasting Room has over 300 wines that can be purchased or enjoyed on premise.

For 25 years, the Sta. Rita Hills has defined California cool-climate winemaking — sculpted by coastal winds and what locals call “refrigerated sunlight,” and celebrated for world-class Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and sparkling wines. We’re honored to craft wines from these remarkable vineyards, and we’ll be pouring at the region’s 25th anniversary celebration this Sunday in LA.

We named our Clima Frío wines to express our commitment to the coolest corners of the coast, the vineyards at the start of Sanford’s drive. The Clima Frío Pinot Noir is the only blended Pinot we make – every other Pinot we make is single-vineyard.
In 2024 we sourced from three cool climate vineyards: Presqu’ile in the Santa Maria Valley, Yellow Foxtrot, and Puerta del Mar — both just west of the Sta. Rita Hills appellation.
Blending lets us choose the specific barrels we want from each site, and each one brings something different to the glass.
The 2024 is ready! Order online or come taste it in the tasting room.

“The tree was already 50 years old when my grandfather, B.F. McCormack, bought the property in 1933. Ninety-three years later, it’s still producing an incredible harvest.”-Adam Tolmach
