Good morning
Just wanted to share that Ben and I went apple picking in the mountains of Virginia and it was a fun experience. So much respect for these farmers because I am extremely thankful that we farm on completely flat land!!!
Hope everyone has a great day 😊

Good morning friends. We have a busy week!
The fall berries are looking fantastic. Josey has been going through and snapping all of these runners off of every plant to insure the nutrients are going to those beautiful strawberries
26,000 new plants were picked up yesterday and we will be planting those Thursday. If you love strawberries this is a field of dreams 🍓
Hope everyone has a great day 😊

Good evening friends
I wanted to share the strawberry life cycle so we can kinda gauge when they will be coming off.
Most of the plants in the field look like the one pictured, so you can see the various stages on one plant.
We will go with the berry that has petals turning brown and falling off for this post and that puts us 21-30 days from picking. So as you can see there are some green berries and those will be ready sooner.
If it’s anything like spring time we will pick a few gallons here and there for a week and then BAM berries everywhere!!
So we will continue to pray for this nice weather we’re getting blessed with and keep y’all posted as well.
Hope everyone has a great day 😊

We have more than strawberries popping up at the farm! Got some new merch that will be available when we open for fall fruit and veggies.

In the meantime go check out Southern Guild Co. They can make just about anything you need!
Hope everyone has a great evening 😊

From the road, you see the fields — the long days, the hard work, and everything it takes to keep a farm going.
But on the other side of farming, there’s this… a quiet porch, a cup of coffee, my computer, and a beautiful view to start the morning.

Farming is hard work, but it also gives us these peaceful moments that make it all worth it.
Hope everyone has a great day 😊

Happy Fall Y’all!
The strawberries are doing fantastic! The new fence with its spicy boarders is doing a great job of keeping the critters out. We have lots of blooms and a few overachievers as you can see. The black plastic is down and ready for the planting of the U-Pick berries for the spring.
Hope everyone has a great day with this beautiful weather 😊

Good morning 9/14.
The bees are buzzing and the strawberries we planted already have new growth! That is very exciting. After the bees get this last push from the goldenrod thats blooming our amazing bee keeper will be harvesting the honey 💛

With the new growth on the strawberries and weather permitting we should be picking around the 25th of October. Who would’ve thought fresh picked local strawberries in the fall?! I can’t wait. I will have my Greek yogurt and granola waiting ☺️
Hope everyone has a great Monday😊

Good evening friends! 9/10/26
First we would like to thank each of you for the support, cards, calls, comments, and most of all the prayers.

We have been back at it with all the field work. We have a new fence that is 10ft tall and more pleasing to the eye.
The rows where the fruit and vegetables that we all love are in place and ready for those plants/seeds to take root and grow!
Tomorrow we will be planting 10,000 winter strawberry plants!
We are looking forward to a great season and seeing all of you guys back at the farm stand. Stay tuned.
Hope everyone has a great evening😊
