When the weather is right, you can see volcanos from my office balcony. It's a sight to see! The bigger one (El Altar) that has sunken in at the top is no longer active. The other one that has the classic volcano shape is Tungurahua. It is still active and we occasionally see plumes of smoke come out!! 😁😁

Hi everyone!! It's been a while since we have updated everything so I am trying to get caught up on our updates here. The land deal fell through for now 😭, but we have found better options elsewhere it seems so it was a good thing. Better options, more jungle, lower price kinda thing.

A while back we visited Finca Saquifrancia, they are a chocolate producer here in Puyo. Was very cool to see. They do everything organically, no pesticides at all. The owner uses decoy fruits to keep animals away from his cacao trees. The pineapples in the pic are an example of it. Other trees he has planted to give various flavors to the cacao. It was a very cool experience!. Had local tilapia for lunch after that. Was amazing!

Here is a walkthrough from before we moved in. We've done a lot of upgrading already, put in new curtains, new paint, etc... It's been sitting empty for a while so it needed a little tlc. 💪

Just moved into our new rental house for the next couple years while we build our new house and turn the property into a wildlife refuge! This place is huge and CHEAP!! One of the main reasons we moved here. It's basically a 6 bedroom, 4 bath house with several porches and balconies with 1 acre of property with flowers and fruit trees and we pay less than $500 a month for all of it. Including utilities!!!! 😁😁😁

Manta fish Market. Miss the selection there but the Tilapia here in Puyo is amazing and worth the trade off!
