“A Cracker’s Paradise”

While this scene is straight out of my imagination and maybe a few stray memories, you can still find lakeside retreats like this scattered around our state. These were some of Florida’s earliest waterfront houses before the advent of luxury homes and multi-family structures encircling man-made potholes behind gates with fancy neighborhood names.

Treating y’all to a little Friday surprise with a new painting drop fresh off the easel! Anyone who’s ever worked cows in Florida knows this is as real deal as it gets. Original 24x36 oil on canvas framed in reclaimed cypress cow pen lumber.
