DOCILITY is one of the 6 essential traits that was targeted when developing the Beefmaster breed. This little bull calf is showing it off in his genes, he was like this on the side of the cow as well!
In case you didn’t know, they were bred to be moderate in size, heat, drought, and insect resistant, which is why they thrive in harsh environments like Florida!

Our goal has been to be successful with cattle we bred and raised right here at home and we are pumped to say we bred this little bull. He was genetically selected to add power and I think we did just that. We love the angle to his sheath, while still showing plenty of American character! 🔥

We packed up and loaded 5 head to take to Kissimmee. This time mostly consisting of babies, we didn’t expect to place, as this is their first show and we brought them to gain experience! However, the babies impressed us and hung some banners!

I’m going to keep it short and sweet. He checks all the boxes. It doesn’t take long to figure out he’s good. He would be staying here if we didn’t have so many daughters from his sire. Halter broke so you can show him and hang banners, or grow him out and create some banner hangers yourself. Born small, weaned big and growing rapidly, I think his future progeny will do the same. Pictures don’t show how big this calves legs really are or how stout he is and he’s only going to get better. Dam was 2 time JBBA class winner and has 8+ supreme heifer titles under her belt. Sire has JBBA division win under his belt. Don’t miss out!

THANK YOU to everyone reaching out asking if we have any steers available!

At this time we are SOLD OUT of steers for this season! We didn’t get the chance to even post them they sold so quick and snatched up before the fairs were even over. We didn’t have a big number of bull calves born to steer this year to add to it. We are waiting for next year’s crop to calve starting in the next few months. If anyone has any questions don’t hesitate to reach out!

However if your looking for your next herd-sire, we have some registered purebred bull calves that we are developing out and unfortunately can’t have so many bulls so we will have to let go of some in the future!
