Hompvks ci Mvskoke cooking & catering Mvskoke Homestyle Cooking, catering & classes by Carol Tiger Hompvks ce (home-(pb)ucks chey) is Mvskoke (Creek) for “you all come eat”.

Hompvks ce , Mvskoke Homestyle Cooking & Cater-ing by Eugenia “Carol” Tiger is based out of Okemah, Oklahoma. The purpose of Hompvks ce is to offer healthy traditional mvskoke foods to indigenous communities through cooking, catering and classes. Carol is a Mvskoke elder that grew up learning the ways of the Hompetv Hiyetv (Food maker). Like most large families, she learned to help her mother in t

he kitchen and as a single parent of three daughters it was important to have these skills for motherhood. In the past, she has cooked with love and passion for fulfilling the appetites of a growing family, her church Springfield Indian United Methodist Church, as a food vendor, for groups and organizations. More recently, her and her daughters have began doing traditional food classes for women and girls.
