NCAT Celebrates 20 Years of Sustainable Pest and W**d Control Database!

Who do you call when pests threaten your crops?

For 20 years, growers in the know have been turning to ATTRA's Sustainable Pest and W**d Control Database to find control solutions with lower environmental impact.

Our updated database helps producers find cutting-edge, more environmentally friendly solutions to pest problems, including microbial pesticides, pesticides derived from plants that have low non-target impacts, and new types of pesticides, such as particle film barriers and pheromones.

The database even indicates which options are approved for organic production.

Access the database at our website and follow the instructions to start searching for solutions to your pressing pest problems: https://conta.cc/4xBNIkL

AGRICULTURAL POLICY SHIFTS: WHAT FARMERS NEED TO KNOW

Root & Bloom fellow alum Marcella Juarez of Laredo, Texas reached out in early 2026 looking for a cumulative list of this Administration’s impacts on farmers and rural communities. She serves on her city’s food policy council and wanted a way to share federal consequences and opportunities for local and state policymakers to step in and fill gaps.

After lots of research, synthesis, and design, we’re excited to share the full infographic here: https://conta.cc/3Ukozwh

Please share it with your networks and in the conversations you’re having about how federal policy shows up in your community.
