This morning we had to say goodbye to one of the most special animals on our farm — our turkey, Bruno. 🤍
We brought Bruno home as an adult in May of 2022, and from day one he completely stole the show. Anyone who ever visited our farm probably remembers him. He greeted guests at the gate, followed along on farm tours, showed off his beautiful feathers, and happily accepted pets and attention from just about everyone.
Bruno had so much personality and truly helped make this farm feel magical. He wasn’t “just a turkey” to us or to so many of our visitors. He was part of the experience, part of the memories, and a big part of what made our farm special.
Last night we lost Bruno to a bobcat, and our hearts are heavy today. Farm life can be beautiful and heartbreaking all at once.
We’re incredibly grateful for the years we had with him and for all the people who got to meet and love him along the way. We know many of you will miss him too. 🦃🤍 if you have pics of Bruno from your farm visit post them in the comments.
