Randy and Donna Bartlett celebrated 50 years surrounded by family, stories, and details that said everything. The handmade wedding dress sewn by Donna’s mom with $50 per yard lace — was one of those details. Their daughter Kristy wore her mom’s honeymoon getaway outfit to the party, blue and white striped and every bit as stunning as the day Donna first wore it. Words like these remind us why we do this. The Singleton family celebrated LJ exactly the way he deserved — every detail personal, every corner of the room full of him. Chili cheese hot dogs, strawberry cake, pecan pie, and the Dallas Cowboys. City and State was honored to hold the space for a celebration of life for a man so clearly loved.
