Today is one of those days where I just want something easy to drink. Thankfully, our besties and could meet us for a Zoom call to talk about life in Quarantine and pretend we were on a beach.

The number one drink request I’ve gotten is a spritz. I don’t blame y’all, when I think of a spritz, I think of a vacation or a perfect summer day on a patio. Here’s my current spritz fave!

A Strong Spritz
3 dashes Summer Berry Bitters (can sub for berry or citrus bitters of choice)5oz (can sub or )75oz
1oz Americano

Stir over ice. Strain into wine glass filled with ice. Top with Prosecco and strawberries. Cheers!

I got a few requests for my favorite Gin and Tonic recipe.

Naturally, I’m all for the drama, so if you want a tiki flair on a standard drink, here’s my recipe.

Tiki GT75oz
3oz
1.5oz gin (I used Colorado gin from )

Pour the tonic and water into a highball filled with ice. Add the gin to a lime shell boat, light on fire, and sprinkle with cinnamon. Let the flame burn out and then pour on top of the cocktail. Garnish with swizzler, straw, and lime wheels.
