It's Spring!!! Happy first day of spring, flower folks.
Last year we'd just returned to OKC after the funeral, having decided to move and I'd been having vertigo every time I stood up or laid down for a week. This year, Nadiya "NEEDS TO TELL MOMMY ABOUT THE VERY RARE FLOWER FROM THE MINT FAMILY, HENBIT" seen at the park. She's the one that keeps pointing out that the alliums are up, the daffodils and tulips. - Gratitude - Resilience - Weird! - , it says here. Guess the plant from its March photo! Place your answer under the photo along with what prize you want me to send you for correct answers: seeds or tubers. Happy growing!!

½ Off Sale! Do NOT share. This is ONLY for our email members and Facebook followers.

Read Carefully: Saturday, July 15, we are marking down over 30 varieties of perennials, shrubs and trees to half off their usual price. Healthy, beautiful plants. Our way of saying ‘Thank You’ to our favorite customers.

Additionally, the rest of the nursery will also be open (though not at ½ price), and with all this rain, it's a lovely time to dig!

Saturday July 15, 10am – 2pm.

If you can’t make it Saturday, we’re available Sunday July 16, 10am - 12pm.

We do NOT have flexibility on these hours, and utility work will totally block access to the nursery for much of next week. Carve out time to come Saturday 10-2pm.

$7.97 White flowering dogwood, Cornus florida, in 3-qt #1 container in south OKC.

The most spectacular of the native, flowering trees, plant instead of Callery pear, single- or multi-trunked tree with a spreading crown and long-lasting, showy, white spring iconic blooms. A lovely, small, flowering tree with short trunk and crown of spreading branches, scarlet-red fall foliage. Hosts the Spring Azure butterfly.

As recommended below, plant in fall or early spring. When planting from a container, provide micro shade.
