If you’ve been wondering where BrennanDale Farms disappeared to… don’t worry, the chickens haven’t unionized and staged a hostile takeover. 🐔

First, I just want to say thank you. So many of you have messaged to check in and ask if everything was okay because we haven’t been posting. That honestly means more than I can put into words. It reminded me that this page isn’t just followers anymore, it’s a community, and I’m incredibly grateful for every single one of you.

The reason I’ve been MIA is actually a pretty exciting one.

I’m officially two weeks away from finishing RN school! 🎉 Right now I’m spending my days in my final clinical rotation in a busy emergency room, soaking up every bit of knowledge I can before I finally earn those two little letters after my name.

Between ER clinicals, studying, care plans, exams, and trying to remember what sleep feels like, all while working full time at a women’s prison, there just aren’t enough hours left in the day to give BrennanDale Farms the attention it deserves.

So we’re going to hit the pause button until August 27th.

When I come back, we’re coming back full speed. More farm videos. More ridiculous chicken content. More laughs. More new animals. More behind the scenes chaos. And yes… way bigger giveaways.

Happy International Day of Friendship! ❤️

One of my favorite surprises since starting BrennanDale Farms hasn’t been the chickens, the hatches, or even the endless farm projects. It’s been the people.

A simple idea to share our little corner of the farm has turned into conversations with people from all over the world. Some of you have celebrated our wins, laughed through our chaos, shared advice when we needed it, and cheered us on every step of the way. Somewhere along the line, followers became friends.

So today, thank you. Thank you for every comment, every share, every message, and every laugh. You make this community feel like sitting around a campfire swapping stories while the chickens argue over absolutely nothing in the background.

If you buy black soldier fly larvae for your chickens, ducks, or other poultry, do yourself a favor and compare the price before you restock.

I checked around, and this deal is actually cheaper per pound than Wilco, Tractor Supply, and even Amazon. That’s a rare find these days.

Black soldier fly larvae are packed with protein and calcium, making them an awesome treat to reward your flock, encourage foraging, or help support healthy egg production. Around here, the second they hear the bag shake, it’s every chicken for herself. 🐔💨
