This morning my phone rang from “ Cody Buys Flowers For Wife.” 😂

I couldn’t help but smile.

There are a lot of things that make flower farming worthwhile, but getting to play a small role in someone loving their spouse well is definitely one of them. It was a joy to put something together for him today. Good job, Cody!

Scammers. 🤦‍♀️ I get scam messages almost daily, but they’ve definitely upped their game lately. This one came as a text.

A couple of years ago, I got a similar message through Messenger and actually thought it could be a real person… maybe just someone with questionable manners. 😂

I replied and told them they were welcome to pay cash when they picked up the item at the farm.

Suddenly, cash wasn’t an option. They insisted on paying through Zelle.

To this day, I’m still not entirely sure how that scam was supposed to work, but the minute someone refuses a simple cash transaction and starts pushing electronic payments, my scam radar dings.

Have you noticed these getting more convincing lately?

True confession- I don’t actually like roses. Well… not the plain old stiff grocery store kind. But when I discovered REAL roses- David Austin roses - they completely rocked my world. These climbing beauties are in their second year and showing off in a big way. The blooms are packed with layer upon layer of ruffles, and they somehow manage to look both elegant and wildly romantic at the same time. I’m smitten.
