Back from vacation and it never ceases to amaze me how quickly the garden grows and changes.

We came home to so many exciting things—our first dahlia bloom, young blackberries forming, snapdragons blooming, lavender ripe and ready to harvest, and snap peas ready for picking and snacking.

Of course, as the flowers and vegetables thrive, the weeds seem to thrive right alongside them. Gardening is a good reminder that a little consistency goes a long way. Just 15–20 minutes of weeding each day helps keep things manageable and allows the good things room to grow.

This season is one of my favorites. Every day brings something new to discover.

And the best news? We will definitely be open this Saturday! 🌸 We can't wait to share some of the garden's beauty with you.

Good morning flower friends 🌿

We will not be open this weekend as we wait for the summer annuals to really start coming on.

The garden is in that in-between stage right now — growing, stretching, and preparing for what’s next. Soon the zinnias, cosmos, sunflowers, and all the summer beauty will be here.

Until then, keep tending your gardens, watering your patio pots, and enjoying the slow unfolding of the season. 🧡

Today we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Freedom is not free, and we are deeply grateful for the sacrifice of those who laid down their lives to protect the liberties we so often take for granted.

We also honor the families who have carried that sacrifice alongside them.

May we never forget the cost of freedom. God bless our fallen heroes and the loved ones who continue to carry their memory 🇺🇸

It’s officially summer break for our household ☀️

I’m not sure who was more excited about the last day of school — the kids or me.

I’m ready for the slow days of summer, lots of time spent together, and of course armfuls of flowers like this larkspur, which is absolutely showing up and showing off right now 💙

These beauties will be featured in this Saturday’s bouquets at the farm stand.

See you this weekend 🌿

As the ranunculus begin to fade and other flowers start to bloom, I’m reminded of the importance of being present.

The garden is always changing. Here today and gone tomorrow, it invites us to slow down, savor the beauty, and appreciate each season while it’s here.

“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”
— Psalm 90:12 🤍

Friends, please join me in praying for Southwest Kansas as wildfires continue to impact the area. This part of the country is near and dear to my heart — it’s where my grandparents lived, where my mom grew up, and where so many of my treasured childhood memories were made.

Praying for protection over families, farmers, ranchers, firefighters, livestock, homes, and the land itself. May God bring rain, strength, safety, and peace to all those affected. ❤️

Edit - SOLD OUT

I still have flowers available 🌸

I brought the bouquets inside and into the cooler this afternoon because these warm temps are no joke and the flowers definitely prefer the cool air.

If you didn’t get a chance to stop by the stand this morning, it’s not too late.

Send me a DM and we can schedule a farm stand pickup 🤍

Or pick up a bouquet at Prairie Center Meats and get other local goodies while you are there!
