A little cookie decorating shortcut that saves a LOT of time.
For these LEGO hands, I used royal icing transfers to get a head start on the design before placing them onto the cookies.
Why? Because timing matters when decorating! If your icing gets too dry before adding the next layer, you can end up with those dreaded craters.
Transfers let me prep the detailed pieces ahead of time, save valuable decorating time, and create a cleaner finished design.
Sometimes the behind-the-scenes tricks are what make the final cookie come together!
