We had a blast again this year at Boo-B-Que! We thought we cooked well but the judges didn’t necessarily agree. Our best calls were 10th in Chicken & 5th in Sausage on day 1 and 4th in dessert on day 2. While not thrilled with our results we had a great time enjoying the fall air, sitting around the fire pits and catching up with friends. And the kids got 2 sugar filled nights of trick or treating and shenanigans with their bbq buds. Congrats to all who heard their names called and good luck to all of our friends cooking the American Royal next weekend!

We had a fun (and hot) weekend cooking at The Great Lenexa BBQ battle! We did ok competing against over 150 other teams with our top place being 19th in brisket. Most of all we had fun hanging with our friends and family! Congrats to all who heard their names called!

We had a great weekend at Qlathe BBQ Championship. We placed 6th in Brisket and scored well enough in the other categories to land 10th place overall out of 70 teams. A solid finish for our first cook of the season. Thanks to our friends Parsons' Gardens - Native Plants for Wildlife for coming out to help us cook and cheer us on. Congrats to Slap's BBQ for the GC win and to everyone else who heard their name called!
