It has been another record breaking year for the Felittese Festival in Old Forge. We were blessed with 3 beautiful days of weather and at the end of it we were sold out of almost everything on the menu and we received nothing but complements on the food and entertainment as a whole. This year we were able to provide an ATM and also a Parking Lot that was graciously donated to us to use for parking by Ken Chelland. It allowed us to raise money for the Old Forge School District student exchange program between Old Forge and our Official Sister City Felitto, Italy. The lucky students will be able to get a great head start from learning abroad. This 3 day parking $5 donation program was able to raise over $1000 to give these students some relief with the fund raising needed to accomplish this task. We were proud to help.
We are also proud to say that the Old Forge High School Marching Band has now returned with the guidance of their true Band Leader Carrie Gregory and was not only able to March in our Procession but was also able to perform beautifully if front of the main stage. We would also love to thank the Marching Units and Band Front that also marched I had nothing but Blue Devil Pride watching that glimmering Blue & Gold in my mirrors during the procession Tracie Krasulski was so great with organizing her Units.
Without our faithful customers that came to us not only for great food, but to show their faith and also allowing us to bring our community together. Your contributions will be put to great use.
And lastly but defiantly not least we would love to thank Father Paisley from St Ann's Parrish for helping us keep our tradition of saying a blessing for our festival on Friday 9/11 to help us remember those that were lost 25 years ago and help us in moving into the future.
Grazie to all and see you in 2027 on September 10th 11th and 12th. 🇺🇸❤️🇮🇹
