A really strange Spring with the drought. Usually the early strawberries quit at the same time as the thorneless blackberries are ready to harvest, however, they have quit and the blackberries are just thinking about blooms. Broccoli, onions, cucumbers, corn, beans, and Malabar Spinach are happy with the 3/4" of rain from two days ago. Yay! Happy Mothers Day ❤️

3 gallons in 2 1/4 hours. Beauties but my knees aren't so sure! Hoping the blackberries wait until the 🍓 🍓 are finished! I just discovered where all the pepper plant cages went! What a cool rack Wind created. 😎

This morning's harvest of strawberries was delightful, although I kept one pail of muddy berries and the other, the clean berries. Thank goodness for the rain yesterday! We got .42 of an inch. Our Mother Earth is smiling too. ❤️ 🌎

We have lots of handbags hanging in our display at The Arrowhead Gallery & Studios. Summer hours are 11-6, except Sundays, open at 1pm. If you stop by, be sure to play a drum as they love the attention. It's a great place to be hanging out, they are happy there. ❤️

Hoping tomorrow morning is as warm as today is! No problem at 50'!! We have a spring and water the garden daily but nonetheless some of the strawberry plants are feeling the drought and we sure don't want seedy blackberries! Getting a pint of 🍓 every day or two.

Our strawberry blossoms have not had a frost and the first red berry was picked today! 🍓 Our next 13-week CSA begins May 6th, so please contact us this week to save a spot for you and your family. We'd love to have you join. We offer $30 and $35 sizes and it is customized. You can choose weekly between: eggs, produce, baked goods, goat and/or cow cheeses, honey, and frozen meats. I do believe these are our 1st apple blossoms! Wind planted a little stick a few years ago! Yesterday the Broccoli got into the ground and my favorite Jibai cucumber seeds in the ground! Wind is busy down in the garden! ❤️ that farmer man!!
