Mexican Lasagna + Jalapeño Corn Casserole
Layers of flour tortillas, seasoned taco beef, salsa, and a creamy sour cream & cheese filling, paired with our creamy jalapeño corn casserole. A delicious, hearty meal made for home.

Did you know it’s Burger Week in Mt Juliet?! 🍔

As a local business, we know firsthand how important it is when you choose to spend your money with a local business. And just like us, the 13 other local businesses participating in Burger Week are counting on you to walk through their doors, try their burgers, and support what they’re building right here in our community.

Here’s a little food for thought: 48% of your dollar spent locally stays local, compared to less than 15% when you spend that same dollar at a national chain.

Sometimes shopping local might cost a little more. But that extra few dollars can mean supporting a local family, helping someone make payroll, keeping a small business’s doors open, and keeping more of your money circulating right here where we live.

We tried Red River Nomad yesterday, and their burger was DELICIOUS! 🍔 We plan to try a few more local burgers this week, and we hope you’ll do the same. Give these local businesses a follow, try their Burger Week offerings, and see what our neighbors have to offer!

And if you don’t find a Burger Week burger that suits you—or you’d rather make one at home—we’ve got you covered. ❤️

Our local beef makes a pretty darn good burger, too. 😉

At the end of the day, it’s about keeping your dollars here, supporting your neighbors, and helping our local businesses keep doing what they do.

It’s Friday at the fair, but we got our pig photos back from earlier in the week, so we figured it was time to share how our crew did! 🐷❤️

We know several of you have been asking how we did at the fair, and we had an AWESOME show! All the hard work these kids have been putting in really showed, and we couldn’t be more proud of their effort. ❤️

🏆 Baylor had an incredible week:
• Champion Duroc Barrow
• Champion Hampshire Barrow
• 3rd in Showmanship — which is all about how well he works with and presents his pig
• 3rd in Skillathon — a test of his knowledge about pigs and the industry

He worked hard all summer, and it was so rewarding to see that effort pay off!

🐷 Andie Kate was 2nd in her class with her gilt, right behind the Champion Duroc! She decided to skip showmanship this year and went all in for …

🧜‍♀️ THE COSTUME CONTEST! 🧜‍♀️

So make sure you check out the pictures of our little Little Mermaid, because Andie Kate transformed into Ariel and her pig became Sebastian the crab! 🦀🐷💜

We are so proud of both of these kids and the work they put into their pigs. The ribbons are exciting, but watching them learn, work hard, overcome challenges, and grow throughout the process is the best part. ❤️

Last week’s Tuesday Takeout went SO well! ❤️

We loved hearing that our premade meals helped make this busy season just a little easier for so many of you. Sometimes you just need a good, home-cooked meal without having to do the meal planning, grocery shopping, or cooking!

So…we’re doing it again! 🙌🏼
Already planning ahead for next Tuesday’s Takeout!

Our best-selling meatballs are basically a mini meatloaf, smothered in our delicious sauce and served with:

A Little Schedule Change for Tomorrow! 🐷❤️

Please take note that our hours tomorrow will be a little different as we will be at the Tennessee State Fair for the swine show!

This is what we have been preparing for all season long, and we are so excited to watch Andie Kate and Baylor both show their pigs! 🐷🏆 We are incredibly proud of the hard work they have put into their 4-H projects, and we are thankful to have the opportunity to be there to see it all come together.

Tomorrow, the farm market will be open from 1:30–5:30 PM. Khloe will be at the shop during those hours to take care of you! But she also has ag Olympics at the fair tomorrow night.

If you need milk and this schedule doesn’t work for you, just let us know! We will be happy to arrange another time for you to pick it up.

Thank you for understanding and, most importantly, for allowing us the opportunity to step away and be there with our kids as they complete their 4-H projects. ❤️
