As more of you are reaching the Northern Terminus this season, please remember 🚨 crossing into Canada on the PCT is no longer allowed. 🇨🇦

As of January 27, 2025, the Canada Border Services Agency discontinued the PCT Entry Permit, which means you must turn around at the border—continuing into Canada on foot is not permitted. Instead, if you plan to head north, you’ll need to enter Canada through an official Port of Entry (like Osoyoos or Abbotsford).

🌲Please also practice Leave No Trace when retracing your steps, since the terminus area is seeing heavier use.

Plan ahead, finish strong, and congrats to everyone reaching the border!🎊

Sorry guys! Unfortunately we had no notice of this until we got in this morning. ETA for the update is 8-10 hours 😓 so we will see you tomorrow! We will be around today prepping for the weekend, sorry for the inconvenience!

Also as a lot of people have been asking,our last day for the season will be Oct. 31st, returning April 24th 2026.

Hey everyone! Just a heads up that due to low supply where we do our food shopping, it is a possibility we will be running out of hashbrowns and French fries starting Saturday. We are hoping to be able to get some in but as of now, us chef store is out of stock and unsure when they'll get them in but we are calling daily.

Thoughts on tots? If it comes down to it we will go that route..

ATTENTION EVERYONE

JJ's Cafe is changing its hours of operation and days being closed starting monday, 16 Jun 2025. we have been watching and listening to ppl. We have been want to do this sooner, but with the kids in school, we were unable to do so.
Wednesdays have always been a hit and miss for being busy, so we have decided to make some changes..

So, moving forward

JJ's Cafe Hours
Thursday 8am to 4pm
Friday 8am to 4pm
Saturday 8am to 4pm
Sunday 8am to 4pm
Monday 8am to 4pm
Tuesday closed
Wednesday closed

This will allow us to be open on holiday Mondays .. we did a trial run with no announcement on being open on Memorial Day and ended up being our busiest day we have had since we have taken over ownership of JJ's and with loosing an hour in the morning.. most mornings, we are sitting the first hour without anyone but then turning away groups of people away at three.
So, with everyone getting used to us stopping breakfast at 11 .. that will now be 12 pm sharp cut off for the late breakfast arrivals that still want breakfast. Im sorry if this is going to be any inconvenience to anybody upcoming plans of being in the area
Also, heads up notice our season will end Fri 31Oct25 with the reopening date will be the Friday Before the opener of trout season which will be the 24Apr26
THANKS FOR FOR YOUR CONTINUED BUSINESS AND UNDERSTANDING.We are looking forward to seeing you all this year.

Our back patio is available again! We are still working on getting a fence back up,that should be happening by next week.

As it is just the two of us most days at the moment outside seating will be NO SERVICE. We ask that you come inside to order and pay for your meal before seating yourself outside. We will gladly run food to outside tables but refills etc you will need to come inside. This is hopefully temporary until we can find more help but until then this is the best solution we could come up with to accomodate everyones needs.

This year, the Red Bluff Police Department is participating in Denim Day. Denim Day started as a movement to expand sexual assault awareness after an assault occurred in Rome, Italy in 1992. An 18-year-old female was sexually assault by her driving instructor. During the court proceedings, the case was ultimately dismissed citing the female was wearing very tight jeans and had to help the perpetrator take them off. Because the female had to help remove her own jeans, the courts ruled in the favor of the defendant that the sexual acts were deemed consensual. The public was enraged by the verdict and began protesting wearing jeans on the steps of the Supreme Court. This ultimately became known as Denim Day.

The Red Bluff Police Department is demonstrating our support for the global movement against sexual assault by wearing denim today. We encourage you to show your support by wearing denim to support survivors and educate yourself on the movement.

We are back open fully with our normal business hrs and Wednesday thru Sunday 7 am to 3 pm with breakfast ending @11 am
How ever there are going to be a couple of days in May that are going to be interrupting normal business hours and that going to be Thursday May 1st we have Pepsi comming to install new soda machine as the coke machine broke a week before opening with no call back to fix..We will now be serving Pespi Co products depending on the finish of install we will open afterwards.And the second day will be Friday May 9th we will be closed for the day due to a Family matter .Other than those two days ..we plan to be open the entire season ..We Look forward to seeing everyone this year
