This a public service announcement from Andy and the entire crew:

To all of our valued customers, friends and neighbors:

As you are all aware we are going to experience some below freezing temperatures over the next few days. Above ground pumps and exposed pipes can freeze, at best causing you to be without water, at worst causing extensive and possibly $ expensive $ damage. Suggestions as to how to prevent this problem are as follows:

If you have a pump house, put an electric heater, brood lamp or lamp with an incandescent light bulb (not an LED bulb) in the pump house. Be sure to plug any of the above directly into an outlet or follow manufacturer’s instructions if you use an extension cord. WARNING: Do not place too close to anything combustible including PVC pipe.

It is also beneficial to leave all outside spigots slightly running at the smallest possible stream (not just a drip).

If you run into any issues or need help with anything, please give us a call.
