Marinara sauce in the works! Y’all, the house smells like heaven in Italy. Used the oven to roast my tomatoes, onions, garlic, and peppers together with a touch of olive oil, salt, and pepper, then was able to easily remove tomato skins afterwards. All the rest was blended up and cooking now with herbs - can’t wait to get this stuff canned up! It already tastes AMAZING!

Such a time saver to do tomatoes this way!

Our garden has been good to us this year! After this, we won’t have squash, zucchini, or cucumbers available for a while - so please let us know now if you’re interested.

Tomatoes, peppers, green beans, and okra are coming in beautifully!

Cucumbers, zucchini, and squash are all in!

Todays pick. Slicer cucumbers are in, and lots of pickling cucumbers are ready too. Peppers of all kinds are also starting to come in. Some of the squash and zucchini are way too big, so that'll go to the chickens and hogs - a blessing so that none of the food goes to waste! More will be ready tomorrow, and we are definitely thanking the good Lord for smiling upon our garden this year.
