Today we delivered our honey to another great store “North of the Stateline” 😉...look for our honey on the front counter at Sheffield Antiques Mall!
We always end up walking around when take honey and finding special “treasures” while we are there! Today our nine year old found a 1999 A-Rod Starting Lineup figurine...”that he had to have!”
Lucky for him...his “Charlie Bear” is a big seller. 😉

This place is pretty special to me...it’s where I have my earliest childhood memory...my grandmother and I were feeding the koi fish at the pond...I have always cherished the Memphis Botanic Garden and so many of the memories I have there.

Hi friends....we’ve been hibernating for the winter...but, with the bees buzzing and the flowers blooming...we are ready for Spring!

FOR THE THIRD YEAR IN A ROW...our light honey has won first place in the honey contest for the Memphis Beekeepers Association!!!
It is a blind contest...where the judges do not know who the honey belongs to...and there were over 65 submissions this year...so...it is so exciting to have won again!
There is SO much work involved in caring for our bees and in the actual process of extracting and bottling....but the beauty of our honey...well...that glory goes to the Lord and his amazing creation in the honeybee. We stay in constant amazement of their civilization and their delicious honey!
I said this past spring that the light honey we had this year was the best WE EVER HAD...we are so thankful! ❤️🐝❤️🐝❤️

Tomorrow will be a great day at the Old Towne Farmers Market!!!! We will be celebrating National Honeybee Day! In addition to our great vendors we will have a honeybee demonstration at 11:00am under the gazebo. Pigeon Roost Apiary will be talking on how bees make honey. They will also have a glass observation hive to look at some of their bees and they will have fresh honey to sample. It is a great educational experience for kids of all ages!!!❤️🐝❤️
We will have many vendors there tomorrow with lots of fresh produce, jams and jellies, canned goods, baked goods, homemade soap, and we will also have some retail vendors and artisans out this week as well!

Tomorrow will be a beautiful day to come to the Farmer’s Market in Olive Branch at City Hall! We will be there from 8:00am to noon! All of our great vendors will be out with lots of fresh produce, jams and jellies, baked goods, local honey, canned goods, and we will also have boiled peanuts tomorrow!!!
We will also have a school supply drive to “fill the wagon” with much needed school supplies for Olive Branch Elementary. If you could please bring one or as many of the items...it would be greatly appreciated! Items needed: new crayons, glue, #2 pencils, copy paper, hand sanitizer, facial tissue, markers, and/or color pencils. Thank you for your support!

Thank you to everyone who came out to the Farmer's Market today!!!! It was definitely hot!!! We appreciate all of our loyal customers and their support! We hope everyone is enjoying their honey! The most interesting use of our honey I heard today from a customer is....that tonight he and his grandmother are going to use our honey to make honey rum wings. Sounds amazing! I love hearing how different people use honey...please tell us how you take or use your honey! We also sold out of Elderberry Syrup in no time...I will have more next week! Next Saturday we will be at Octoberfest at the City Park!!! I have always wanted to sell something there...so, here is my chance. ;) Hope to see everyone there! I will have special "fall-themed" jars of honey for gifts or just to look pretty in your pantry. ;) Thank you again. Here is a video of the bees cleaning out the remaining honey from the buckets that we use to bottle the jars with. They literally lick it clean! 🐝❤️🐝
Just maybe....the cutest little beekeeper in the world....our son, Charlie! ;) The guy who got us started with keeping bees! He wanted a beehive for his 6th birthday...and now...here we are....60,000+ bees later.... We will be back at the Farmer's Market this Saturday to re-celebrate National Bee Day...since we got rained out last time! I will be making honey cakes and we will also have Homemade Elderberry Syrup made with our local, raw honey...just in time for cold and flu season!!! We also have some great hands on learning pieces for the kids! Come see us at the City Hall Farmer's Market in Downtown Olive Branch this Saturday from 7:00am until the honey is all gone!
