🐥✨ Well… the farm math happened again. 😂

I went “just to look” and somehow came home with Silkie chicks AND Naked Neck chicks.

Because apparently I have zero self control when tiny fluffy creatures are involved. 🫠🐰🐓

The Silkies look like little feather dusters with trust issues…And the Naked Necks look like someone started building a chicken and forgot to finish the neck feathers. 💀😂

My farm is officially becoming:✨ fluffy rabbits✨ fancy chickens✨ chaos✨ and questionable financial decisions

But honestly… watching tiny chicks run around the barn might heal at least 73% of my problems. 🤍

Now somebody tell me WHY farm animals are cuter when they look slightly ridiculous. 😂

🐰 Being a rabbit breeder is such a peaceful hobby…

Until you realize:• your camera roll is 97% bunny pictures• you’ve had full emotional breakdowns over ear carriage• you casually say things like “heavy VM sable point buck” in public• your feed store knows you by name• you spend more on rabbits than yourself• you own more grooming supplies than actual human hair products 😂

And let’s not forget…✨ explaining to normal people why two rabbits with almost identical colors are actually COMPLETELY different. ✨

“See this one is broken sable point and THIS one is smoke pearl VM.”Them: 👁️👄👁️

But honestly?Nothing beats walking into the barn and seeing tiny noses, floppy ears, and baby binkies after a long day. 🤍

Rabbit breeders are a special kind of crazy… and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. 😂🐰

I absolutely fell in love with his sweet baby face, soft coloring, and pedigree. He looks like a tiny marshmallow with ears and I am OBSESSED. 😭🤍

A huge thank you to The Lops at Little Flat Creek for trusting me with this beautiful boy. I can’t wait to watch him grow and see what he brings to the program in the future.

“Holland Lops are proof that something can be adorable and completely unhinged at the same time. 😂🐰

One minute they’re tiny floppy-eared angels…
The next minute they’re:
• redecorating their cage
• throwing pellets across the room
• side-eyeing you for cleaning THEIR mess
• climbing into the food bowl like it’s a hot tub
• doing zoomies at 2am for absolutely no reason

And let’s talk about the attitude…
These little rabbits weigh 3 pounds but somehow carry the confidence of a grown man driving a lifted diesel truck. 💀😂

But then they do one tiny binky or flop over dramatically and suddenly I’m out here buying more rabbits like I’ve learned nothing.

Bunny habits nobody warned me about:
• Staring at you like YOU owe THEM money
• Throwing their food bowl because dinner was 3 seconds late
• Doing zoomies at midnight like they pay bills here
• Flopping over dramatically and making you think they died
• Refusing the expensive toy but chewing the cardboard box it came in
• Acting absolutely starving while sitting beside a full feeder
• Rearranging their cage after you JUST cleaned it

And my personal favorite…
✨Giving attitude during grooming like they didn’t choose to grow a whole comforter worth of wool.✨

But honestly… one little nose twitch and all is forgiven. 🤍

People always ask… ‘Do Angoras REALLY need that much grooming?’

Short answer: yes.
Long answer: YESSSSS… unless you want your rabbit looking like an abandoned mop with opinions. 😂🐰

Angoras are basically tiny cloud creatures with trust issues and a full-time salon schedule. Around here we brush, blow out, trim mats, and occasionally negotiate with them like toddlers.

✨ Wool care tips from the fluff farm:
• Groom regularly — don’t wait until they look like they lost a fight with a tumbleweed
• Check armpits, belly, and b***y areas for mats
• Keep wool clean and dry
• A balanced diet helps maintain healthy coats
• Start grooming young so they learn the routine early

A well-kept Angora = happier bunny, healthier coat, and WAY less emergency brushing sessions for you. 🤍

And yes… I still leave grooming sessions covered in enough fur to make a whole extra rabbit. 🫠😂

Meet Rainbow Bunnies Ross 🖤
A handsome black tort Holland Lop buck with an absolutely stacked pedigree behind him! I’m super excited to watch this boy grow and see what he brings to my program. His lines include some beautiful, well-bred rabbits with strong type and color genetics, and I can already tell he’s going to be something special. 🐰

I’m especially excited about:
✨ His pedigree
✨ His potential for future breeding plans
✨ That sweet Holland Lop personality already showing through

Big day at Ridgefield Fluff Farm 🐰✨

Added FIVE new Holland Lop breeders to the program today and I am SO excited about the direction this program is headed! Between the colors, pedigrees, type, and future Teddy Widder plans… the possibilities are endless. 💕

Can’t wait to watch these babies grow and see what future litters bring. Lots of fluffy goodness coming to the rabbitry soon. 🩷🐇
