Another trip to the Simmental show at the great Iowa State Fair is in the books!

We dipped our toe into a new division this year and sure glad we did. F/C Nelly stood second in her fall class! Aaron will admit when he might have been wrong when Nate said we should bring this one. 😄

Our little baldy heifer, F/C Mary is Promised looked great and did well in class, we are sure excited for her future!

As always, thank you to everyone that helped us those four days. Everything from taking care of cows at home, getting cattle ready, watching grandkids and moral support needed on another crazy show day!

Congrats to Jacob and Addy Langley on a great run with their heifers! They have improved a ton since county fair and were at the top of their respective classes in the FFA show. It’s been fun to watch you work hard and improve all summer!

What a fun weekend! We really enjoyed the opportunity to watch the Langley family exhibit a few heifers they purchased from us last fall. It was great to see them back in the show ring, and the cattle looked excellent! Keep up the good work!
Per usual, Ethan also enjoyed himself doing his favorite things while at the show. Hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa, playing with trucks and learning something with Aunt Bridget!
