Yellow Summer Squash with Blossom

This is a yellow crookneck or yellow zucchini squash growing right in your field. You can see:

A bright golden-yellow squash forming at the base, curved and plump
A large vibrant orange-yellow squash blossom open at the top, which means it is actively pollinating
Surrounded by mixed green grass and weeds growing around it
The squash looks healthy and is at a good picking size
This is a great sign -- the blossom means more squash are on the way!

While our garlic is famous around here, nature had other plans too! We spotted these beautiful yellow squash quietly growing right alongside our garlic rows. That bright golden blossom is one of the prettiest sights on the farm -- and a sign that more are coming!

Our little farm is full of surprises this season. Fresh, naturally grown, no fuss -- just good soil, sunshine, and a whole lot of love.
