Come out and Rally ...
A friend of mine that I work with at Tractor Supply found out his daughter Gracie who is 15 has stage 3 Hodgkin's lymphoma.
We are putting a little fundraiser together to help with not only the medical bills to come but to also help with egg retrieval to make sure her future is secure with all she needs when she is well again!
If you would like to donate anything towards a raffle basket that would be phenomenal or just stop by that Sat and show some community support. I will be there selling hot dog meals for a couple hours throughout the day if you want to grab a quick bite for a good cause.
Thank you!!

Swings built from scratch...
Gross day but Joe managed to finish the six swings that make up our porch swing fire pit. The original ones finally kicked the bucket last year after 7 years in the elements they had seen better days. Instead of letting me buy some he custom built these new ones and said they will last so much longer than the last. Now I just need to stain and seal them on a non rainy day!

Goose update...
He is doing really good... Definitely managing to get around on three legs. His spirits still aren't where we would like them to be but it was a lot all at once. Having to be an indoor cat in a confined space without a leg and feeling demasculated is probably more than enough for this month...
He has an appointment next week to get stitches out and will hopefully get the all clear to be less confined. Other than that he seems to be very healthy.
Plans in the future are to keep him as an indoor cat, but maybe enclose the porch or create a catio for him so he still gets to experience the outside without his safety being an issue...
He appreciates all the love and support and he will have to make an appearance to see everyone at the Christmas party!
