Summer Downen has created Summer’s Street Eats as her Richland County CEO business, and she has already built an incredible reputation serving up DELICIOUS authentic Filipino cuisine right here in our community! 🙌🔥

Summer’s long-term dream is to one day take her business MOBILE with her own food truck, and we are excited to help support that dream by welcoming her into The Smokin’ Pig food truck for a special event!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported Summer’s Street Eats at the trade show Wednesday night! Seeing so many people stop by, try the food, and show love for this business meant more than I can put into words. This would not be possible without the support of amazing customers like you.

I also want to give a special thank you to my volunteer, Carder Burgener, who came out and helped make the night run smoothly, and my mentor Ashlee Vaughn. Your time, energy, and support did not go unnoticed, and I truly appreciate you!

Wednesday night was also a reminder that hard work truly does pay off. I had the honor of earning 2nd Place, and I’m incredibly grateful and proud of how far this business has come.

That means you’ve got a little extra time to get your orders in! Don’t wait too long though, spots will still fill up. Pickup for this week will be Sunday from 12–2 PM, and I’ll have everything fresh and ready for you.
