Mcphie Family Farm has 46, FORTY SIX dozen eggs. We could use your help in moving them from our kitchen to yours! As always they are only 3/dz, but I'll make you a deal if you get multiple cartons! Pick up or delivery local to Olney. Can even bring to Air Tractor to deliver there.

We have new baby chicks!! We received Mille Fluers, Blue Andelusians, and Jumbo Cornish Crosses. The Cornish Cross are meat birds, they'll be ready in roughly 12 weeks time. Look for posts when it gets close as we will have some for sale. We have 25 and I know our freezer won't hold them all!

The girls are back to business and they are slaying the egg laying game! Despite the cost of feed and everything going up, our eggs are still 3 for a dozen and 5 for 2 dozen. Let me know if you need some! They're starting to pile up!

Today is Hatch day for our second clutch of Suss*x eggs! We have 2 pipping now, hopefully they unzip themselves soon.

These chicks are available for sale! I've included photos from the last hatch to show age progression. The baby chicks are 4 weeks old. so they are started to get the awkward feathering stage and looks awesomely weird. The 4 week old chicks are also for sale.

And then finally the last photos are the adults of the breed. beautiful Speckled Suss*x hens and roos.

It'll be set at a straight run price of $3.50, however you are more than welcome to come try to s*x them out when purchased.

Sunday spotlight: Hei Hei aka Special Hei

This chicken is... special. She's always been a little derpy and we love her. Most mornings she waits for me to put my hand out to help her off the roost and she falls asleep at the drop of a hat if she's being held. I've never seen her eat a rock larger than her head but I wouldn't put it past her. Video in the comments (eventually maybe... fb is having trouble uploading it).
