As we farm more and more we started realizing farming is like practicing survival skills. We always predict the worst and not every year is the same. Here in Maryland we saw a drought pattern at least in the past 4 years, we decided to put drip-tape under soil level so we could give sweet potatoes water when they need it. From the date of planting in May and early June, after transplanting they didn’t seem to need water since it has been raining so much this year. But now we feel we did prepare for this moment, it will be dry for at least the next 10 days and don’t worry sweet potatoes, we have communication line with you. Drink up and get big so we can feed more and more people.
