Buerster Hay Farms LLC Buerster Hay Farms seeks to provide quality alfalfa and alfalfa-grass hay to several states. Buerster Hay Farms was started in 2013 by Phil and Scott Buerster.

We always enjoy meeting new faces and are looking forward to expanding our reach to provide quality hay to a wide range of customers. We felt there was a need for quality hay in the southern Illinois area. Starting out with a 3 acre test plot of alfalfa, Buerster Hay Farms has expanded to 110 acres of alfalfa and alfalfa-grass mix, as well as 135 acres of grass hay, expanding to serve several diff

erent states. In 2014, we installed our first irrigation system, and today we have four and counting. We installed a state-of-the-art drying system in 2018. This ensures that our hay is dry, mold-free, nutrient-rich and colorful. We are always looking to provide quality hay to new markets and new customers.
