I'm excited to announce that I'll be reopening my business just in time for Thanksgiving! The Pecan Pantry will be selling delicious homemade pecan pies, available for pick-up on November 27th and 28th. Each pie is priced at $25. Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the 2024 Richland County CEO Trade Show. I am so thankful for the continued support I have received thought out this program. Wednesday night was no different! My favorite part of the evening was socializing with those I have met along the way, as well as meeting new people. Everyone’s enthusiasm and support meant the world. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to connect with each one of you on Wednesday. Also, a huge thank you to my whole family for supporting me and helping me prepare for this event. I am so grateful to the First Christian Church of Noble for letting me borrow their coffee warmers, and for Kelly Richardson lending me many necessary items for my booth. A huge thank you to my grandma for helping me set up, as well as my mother and cousin, Mariah Livingston, for helping my booth run smoothly. Thank you so much to Sara Peavler, my mentor, for her continued support and always being there to help me though the whole program. Thank you SO MUCH to Sheri Gray for being every CEO member’s number one cheerleader, and help each of in any possible way. Thank you to the CEO board for assisting all of the students in the tear down and clean up process. It was an amazing night, and I am so grateful I was able to be part of such a supportive community!

Finally, the last but certainly not least recipe is a Strawberry Spinach Salad. This recipe makes it into my lunchbox almost every day. Make sure you try it out along with the Candied Pecan Chocolate Chip Cookies and the Sweet Potato Casserole with Buttery Pecan Topping. It’s National Pecan month!! In honor of this The Pecan Pantry will be selling 20 pecan pies. The pies will be ready for pick up on Saturday, April 27th. There will be a pick up option in Noble from 9:00am-10:00am. A Olney pick up will also be held from 4:30pm- 5:00pm. This is CEO member Jersey Wells with Monday’s recap. Today the entrepreneurs started the day by reading a Chapter of our book: “Thing You Wish You Knew Yesterday.”Post-discussion, we had the pleasure of welcoming back alumna Sophia Ranes to mentor the entrepreneurs on their upcoming pitch competition. During this competition entrepreneurs will be tasked with delivering a fifty to sixty second pitch for their individual business. Sophia was the 2023 pitch day competition winner as well as a National CEO Pitch Competition Finalist. Sophia generously devoted her time to share her knowledge of public speaking. She also listened to several of the entrepreneurs present their pitch and gave amazing feedback.

I am excited to announce that the Pecan Pantry will be offering pecan pies for Easter! I am currently taking 20 orders. Each pie will be priced at $25. The Pecan Pantry will offer pick up in Noble on Saturday, March 30th from 9:00am-11:00am. As well as in Olney on Saturday, March 30th from 2:00pm-2:30pm.
