It’s been a crazy week with our restaurant closed for renovations. We’ve been scrambling to figure out where we can set up, keep serving barbecue, and most importantly, keep our team working.
Years ago, when we were a smaller operation, we probably would’ve just shut down for the week and called it a day. But things are different now. We have over 25 employees and their families who depend on this business week in and week out.
That changes the way you look at things. It’s not just about keeping the doors open or selling barbecue. It’s about taking care of the people who help make all of this possible.
I’m especially grateful for the people in Lubbock who continue to show up and support us when we travel there. Every time you buy a plate of barbecue, you’re doing more than supporting a local business. You’re helping us take care of the families behind it.
And that means more to us than you probably realize.
