Yesterday I hauled butt getting Milly and her bacon beans turned out into the field since she was feeling well enough to go back out. The babies enjoyed napping in the sunshine. Mom gently checked each and every baby to make they weren't hurt when I carried them out to the field for her.

It was a long day, but we ended the day with Milly giving birth to THIRTEEN piglets! Two were stillborn so there are only 11, but that's still a crazy amount considering her last litter had only 8. She's tired but received much pampering to keep her cool, hydrated, fed, and much belly rubving during labor. We will have feeders available in October.

Looks like I've got an over eggchiever! The 4.5 month old pullets are already starting to lay eggs, found my first one yesterday.

My Thai chilis are getting big- about 4 foot tall and putting out peppers finally! None of them are turning red yet. I'm looking forward to finally trying some. Are you?
