Nature finds: Licorice Fern🌱 Polypodium glycyrrhiza

Ecology: small medium sized evergreen licorice-flavored rhizome, often grows on deciduous tree trunks and branches.

The rhizomes can be important medicine for colds and sore throats- can be dried, steamed, scorched or eaten raw.
