👋 Meet Chris White, IT Manager at TOBA Inc.. We asked Chris to share some fast facts with us:

✅ I’ve been married to my wonderful wife Keisha for 15 years, and we have four kids between us. They are ages 22, 17, 17, and 12. My family has two dogs and a cat.
✅ I have been working in IT for over 25 years now. I enjoy all things technology-related and often meddle with tech devices at home or in my spare time.
✅ Learning about new technology and how devices work together is still a fascinating piece of the tech puzzle that motivates me to learn more every day. Knowing that I’m able to make devices do things that others cannot or don’t know how to do, drives me forward!
✅ In my free time, I often dabble in the world of 3D printing, small-scale manufacturing, and woodworking. I also enjoy camping with my family.
✅ A fun fact about me is that my middle name is Robin — yes, Christopher Robin!
✅ I’ve traveled all over this great nation, but I’d say Yellowstone National Park was my absolute favorite place to be. It’s amazingly beautiful!

👋 Meet Cecilia Alcaraz, Administrative Assistant at Bridger Court. We asked Cecilia to share some fast facts with us:

✅ I am the youngest of eight kids (I’m spoiled, just a little bit!). I just graduated with my bachelor’s in accounting, and I am very proud of this achievement.
✅ I am a quiet person, but once you get to know me, I will blossom like a flower. I am also adventurous, and I like to explore new places and try new things. In my spare time, I like to hang out with my family.
✅ My motivation comes from trying to be the best that I can be. I am a perfectionist, and I like to succeed in everything I do.
✅ I have one pet, a Beagle named Nala. A fun fact about me is that I went skydiving on my 21st birthday! So epic!
✅ My favorite place to travel is Mexico. I LOVE it there!

Across every Wald location, our teams continue to show what it means to work safely, support one another, and keep moving forward. Here’s a look at what’s been happening across our facilities this month:

🏭 39th Street – Safety and situational awareness remain top priorities as the team navigates record-setting heat, extreme heat indexes, and wildfire smoke. Despite the challenges, employees stayed focused on strong KPI performance while continuing to get new equipment up and running. Thank you for giving your best, even when conditions aren’t easy!

🎓 Bridger Court – The team welcomed FAST Track groups from Hutchinson Community College for three weeks of tours, bringing 24–26 students and graduates from more than 20 area high schools. We’re proud to showcase our facility and the career opportunities available in South Central Kansas, and we hope to see some of these students join the Wald team in the future!

🍕 C Street – The team continues to support daily operations with a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork. Through communication and attention to detail, employees are maintaining reliable production while supporting ongoing improvements across the facility.

🔧 F Street – July brought a scheduled no-production week focused on maintenance and improvement projects. From equipment repairs and upgrades to facility improvements and deep cleaning, the team completed a long list of projects to keep operations running smoothly. A very successful week of work!

🌯 Mt. Pleasant – The team is running a new repack line while also preparing a second packaging line. The Bakery has ramped up product testing and added new equipment for future specialty production. The team also partnered with members from the Bridger Court facility to successfully produce a new-to-us product, continuing to share knowledge and grow together.

👏 Thank you to every employee across our facilities for your hard work, adaptability, and commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork. Your efforts continue to move Wald forward!
