Today’s special has a story behind it.
A while back, one of our regulars came through the drive-thru and ordered his usual — The Fresh Prince. If you don’t know, all of our wraps are named after rappers and inspired by their favorite foods.
We got to talking, and he mentioned he was a film writer. Then he said, “I might actually have a story for your Biggie wrap.”
I’ve been trying to come up with the right Biggie-inspired wrap for a while, but his favorite food isn’t exactly something everyone knows. So the next time this guy came through, I had to ask him about it.
He parked, came inside for lunch, and told me the story.
Turns out, he was hired to write Slim & Big — a story about Biggie and his childhood best friend. While interviewing Slim, he found out that Biggie’s favorite food was a double bacon cheeseburger from his local diner.
And that… we can handle.
So thanks to a wild drive-thru conversation, an amazing story, and one man’s crazy adventure through life, we present:
